Another handy script that I originally created in 2014, but updated to perform some sanity checks. This script will check for all files older than x months, or just targeting the junk emails, and permanently delete these emails.

Kent Piano Movers goes live

I am proud to present a new piano moving website for a long-standing client based in Kent. It took a bit of cajoling to convince Chris that he would really benefit from a system that could handle his quotes and bookings with the right information for moving between two locations or piano disposals. He was spending a large part of a day each week just to plan his subsequent day’s work – as well as delayed replies to quote requests or missing them entirely. Clearly a bespoke system would make a dramatic improvement to the current customer experience and save time in the process.

The Thai Angels Massage & Spa ordeal with Richard Horwell

I’ve just launched a new WordPress website for a Thai Angels, a massage parlour in Maida Hill, North West London. After significant feature creep, instigated by Richard Horwell, from the “basic” version to a realistic presence for a salon –  it includes chat, a Covid-19 registration form and allows for more complex bookings with payments, the final result is ready.

Moving IMAP emails offline to save web space

I find that a lot of space taken up on clients’ hosting accounts is from emails, usually emails many years old.

One easy way to save much of the space is to archive the emails in offline folders after a period of time. You only need to do this for your main device if multiple devices use the same account.
