Spamming on ICQ with authorizations

I am continually receiving authorizations on my ICQ from two different users with a URL as their alias. I could ignore the user from the authorization window, but that would make no difference as there is a new ICQ number each time.

It is very clear that the ICQ staff hasn’t really paid much attention on what people do to get their website noticed. How difficult would it be for them to block spammer’s websites being displayed as their username?

Why don’t they introduce a challenge before allowing people to request authorization or send a message? Trillian and many other messaging clients now use these features to stop spammers. ICQ should get a move on with implementing some anti-spam features that actually work.
