The latest film from Buddhadeb Dasgupta, one of India’s most-celebrated directors, is a lyrical and at times comedic three-part portrait of rural Indian life.
Not sure exactly what this film is trying to say, but the postman up the tree is a source of amusement throughout. The hunter is just an eccentric character that gives the story a predictable dark twist.
